Revel Group property and design wins award

The
referenced award (for Best Historic Preservation,) given to GD&C,
was for the Revel Group building at 116 Houston St.
In
February 2000 the Revel Group purchased the building. Reconstruction on
this building began almost immediately to bring the building back to its
original splendor. Though the corner of the building, which was removed
for the enlargement of Soladad Street cannot be replaced, the cornice and column
detail was being re-created.
In
January 2001, the Houston Street building was proud to become the home of
Guerra, DeBerry and Coody, a local PR and advertisement firm. Guerra,
DeBerry and Coody are currently occupying the entire second floor and part of
the third floor, finally
bringing their firm’s corporate offices under one roof. They began their
company as a 3 person office in a Revel Group property on 6th St. in 1998.
Since then, they have grown as a company and as a tenant. The Houston St.
project was conceived, contracted, and designed by The Revel Group.
